Drive technical initiatives for Straumann AXS, the company's cloud-based digital ecosystem platform for dental treatment workflows. Within a 70+ engineer organization, I serve as the platform's primary technical reference across multiple teams, leveraging deep institutional knowledge from the project's inception. Assigned to the Restorative planning workflow team, also focused on critical platform services including file management, security, and user management. Drive cross-cutting technical improvements: performance optimization, technical debt reduction, observability, and architecture evolution. Maintain hands-on engineering practice with 3+ hours of daily coding, alongside PR and POC reviews, technical mentoring, and documentation.

Led architecture across a 70+ engineer organization working on multiple projects. Defined technical standards, architecture patterns, and best practices for large-scale software development. Conducted architecture reviews, mentored engineering teams, and drove technical strategy for complex enterprise systems.

As CTO and sole developer, designed and built a Terminal Operations System (TOS) MVP from requirements analysis through deployment. Built the full stack including legacy database import system, yard visualization, and vessel voyage planning. Implemented reinforcement learning optimization for container placement based on dwell/operations time prediction. Established complete CI/CD pipeline and monitoring infrastructure.

Delivered two energy-market products for Axpo Group through AKKA Technologies. Led the migration and continued development of a structured energy market application and improved a customer portal, combining architecture ownership with hands-on full-stack engineering.

Led architecture and hands-on delivery across enterprise modernization projects, including two phases of a legacy Access-to-.NET migration and Angular and Vue.js applications built over existing APIs. Coordinated technical direction and delivery across client teams.

Led technical delivery for a Diners Club migration from AS/400 to .NET and built a custom point-of-sale system for Kiwoko. Combined architecture, team leadership, and hands-on full-stack development.

Development and evaluation of automated quantitative trading systems for currency futures markets.

Led diverse projects for Micromouse and its clients, including the complete rewrite of the company's CRM system (originally built in 1995). Developed fax delivery solutions for major clients including Telefonica and Allfunds Bank. All systems remain in production use today.

Completed short, concurrent engagements including an enterprise storage portal for Micromouse clients, an ERP for a fashion retail network through Edetronik, and an international rail availability and reservation system for Gowaii.

Returned to LCC as CTO in 2006 and led the development team through a complete rewrite of the company's Visual Basic application suite in ASP.NET. Expanded the platform with document management, CRM capabilities, and a customer web portal. The system remains in production use today.

As CTO, led the company's digital transformation from inception. Built the complete software suite for business lifecycle management, including the first website for auction companies with real-time online catalogs and live bidding data. Established the technical foundation that drove the company's growth and competitive advantage.

Developed and consulted on new corporate applications, providing technical architecture guidance and implementation support for enterprise software projects.

Built the first Visual Basic version of LCC's ERP, covering customers, budgets, work orders, laboratory tests, and billing. Also developed automated customer test-result reporting that saved thousands of hours of manual work annually. Returned in 2006 as CTO to lead the platform's full ASP.NET rewrite.

Developed legal case-management and accounting software for Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and contributed to an auction-management ERP for Fernando Durán through Serikat.

Began my professional software career at Beckman Instruments, contributing to CRM software and building internal database, resource-planning, and help-desk tools. Subsequent experience included university IT support, access-control and device-integration software, business applications for independent clients, and programming and systems courses taught while completing a Mathematics degree.
